Had a lovely stay at the campsite! Had a lovely stay at the campsite. Great food and staff! Also great location in the middle of the QENP. The showers and toilets where clean. In the evening/night you’ll get a guard who escorts you because it’s possible that there are animals grazing (elephants, hippos, buffalos, etc)

A camp with an elephant mascot! Tents are simple but comfortable and toilet/shower block is standard, the common areas and raised deck are great. Three things make the Engiri camp an excellent experience overall (1) the staff are incredible, so kind and thoughtful (2) the location, perfect for easy access to several sectors of QENP and quiet at night (3) the mascot (large elephant) that wonders through camp occasionally, not too many. Places can offer that!!!

Late night visitors in the Bush This was a beautiful place to rest in the bush. As a vegetarian I do think they need more protein options for us. The sunset on the patio was great with a cold Nile. As for our room we had a “duplex” and you could hear your neighbors as the rooms are beautifully created with wood. We booked a single and had two double beds 🤪 the late night visitor made up for all of this. They did our laundry! It was overall a nice experience.

5/5 THE BEST BUDGET LODGE WITH AWESOME MIDRANGE SERVICES. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE 🤗AND DELICIOUS HEALTHY MEALS 😋 I was hosted as “Miss Heritage Rwenzori 2023-24” at Engiri Game Lodge and Campsite in QENP; the best budget lodge however it also provides awesome midrange services. The hummingbirds in the trees give a whole experience of the sounds of nature. The customer service was on point. The food was delicious and healthy. Had a chance to see an elephant that was passing by. It’s easier to access the boat rides, game drives and other activities while at the lodge.

Very Nice Lodge in a Great Location We stayed two nights at the Engiri Game Lodge. The accommodations were great for us. A nice private hut, clean, spacious, with a high thatched roof, and porch. The common lodge had plenty of comfortable seating in the lobby, and a nice dining area on the second level. The second level provided great sunrise and sunset views, and usually a cool breeze being above the bush. We saw waterbuck and elephant along the entrance driveway, and tracks of hippo as well. Walking between room and lodge 6:30 pm to 6:30 am required a lodge escort due to the potential of startling an animal. Great location within Queen Elizabeth National Park boundaries. The staff was very kind and helpful. I would definitely stay at Engiri Game Lodge again.

Just an OK experience. I enjoyed my stay here because the staff was very helpful and nice. It was a wonderful location with elephants just along the road leading up to the loge. However, I cannot give a 5-star review because my food was served late every time. I would tell the staff the time when I wanted my food and it was always served to me over 30 minutes late. It made us late for our game drives in the morning and at night I was served after other guests who sat down after me. This was unacceptable because at lunch time I told them what time I wanted dinner and they still served it 40 minutes late even though I was sitting there for so long.

Fantastic Stop Over We were touring Uganda and sleeping in a roof tent so just used their ‘camping’ facilities and ate meals and breakfast in the restaurant. The camping area was lovely, very secluded but close enough to the shower and restaurant. Food was really good. A really beautiful spot and made all the more fantastic by being visited by an elephant as we were leaving.
